Grant amount 8,820 euros, total cost 9,800 euros.
Project objectives and results: the aim of the events held over two years was to promote food culture by introducing ways of using garden plants, fish and meat grown and produced in the Romantic Coastline (RR) area and pairing them with local drinks. The main theme of the 2025 event was rhubarb. The cooking workshops focused mainly on different techniques for preparing rhubarb dishes and on pairing the finished food with drinks. Rhubarb was the star of starters, mains and desserts alike. The main theme of the 2026 event was fish cooked on the grill and special techniques for different meats. The accompaniments to all the dishes were made from rhubarb in one way or another. In addition to a lecture introducing the techniques, visitors took part in a practical assessment of how well the finished food and local drinks go together. Through these events visitors gained valuable theoretical knowledge from Estonia’s top chefs as well as hands-on experience.

Project objective: to promote local food and drink and introduce ways of preparing and using them.
At the 2025 Rhubarb Day several exciting workshops on local food and drink were held. The focus was on introducing the uses of rhubarb in both food and cocktails. The story of how Mulgi porridge came to be listed as UNESCO world heritage was presented, along with ways of serving local national food in a gourmet style. It was shown and explained that traditional-method sparkling wines can also be made from local raw materials. The day ended with a cheerful concert by Mikk Saar and Pääru Oja.
It was an educational and inspiring day full of hands-on activity for the participants.

Grant amount 59,999.30, total cost 127,472.10.
Project objectives and expected results: the company has set out to develop a manor accommodation service. Before interior work could begin, the roof of the planned rooms had to be replaced. Within the project the emergency-state roof of the building’s south wing was replaced with a standing-seam metal roof suited to the historic building; in the process the roof structures were restored to their original form and the original volume of the historic building’s south wing was marked out with an extension.

Grant amount 6,000, total cost 6,667.
Project objectives: the aim of the events held over two years is to promote local food and drink by giving them a new, wilder angle and a touch of gourmet. Grant amount 7,762.30, total cost 12,937.17.
Project objectives and expected results: in the situation caused by the COVID-19 crisis, modernising the company’s operations through process automation and the purchase of new, more energy-efficient equipment, thereby securing the company’s sustainability.
Within the project an ATV-towed maintenance mower was purchased, which allows the green areas to be mown far more efficiently and in much less time. The central heating boiler was replaced with a more economical and energy-efficient wood boiler. A labelling machine was taken into use in production, along with French oak barrels to raise product quality.

Grant amount 19,999.55, total cost 34,490.45.
Project objectives and expected results: creating accommodation suited to the situation arising from the COVID-19 crisis. To this end four glamping-type tents and one stove for extending the season are purchased within the project. To improve the moisture conditions of the winery building, waterproofing is installed on the exterior wall below ground level, a drainage system is built and the system for directing rainwater away from the area is renewed. Part of the retaining wall of the rondel is also repaired. To update production technology, a corker for fitting metal caps and oak barrels for raising product quality are purchased.
The project is in the implementation phase. The aim is to increase the number of visitors on the Romantic Coastline.

Grant amount 15,000, total cost 16,500.
Project objectives and expected results: the aim of the events held over three years is to promote local food and introduce ways of using it, as well as to increase the number of visitors on the Romantic Coastline.
Source of funding: project grant under the LEADER measure (Rural Development Plan 2014-2020 measure: Romantic Coastline joint activities and marketing)
Grant amount 1,508.40, total cost 2,514.00
Project objectives and expected results: a virtual tour is an important, modern marketing tool for promoting one of the Coastline’s most distinctive sights, Allikukivi park and manor house, through the media. The virtual tour is intended to reach potential visitors, spark their interest and thereby increase visitor numbers. The aim is to increase the number of visitors on the Romantic Coastline.
Source of funding: project grant under the LEADER measure (Rural Development Plan 2014-2020 measure: developing and diversifying entrepreneurship)
Grant amount 19,831.35, total cost 33,052.25
Project objectives and expected results: taking new visitor rooms into use improves the possibilities for serving visitors better. In the new rooms tastings can be held, winemaking introduced, and seminars and events organised regardless of the weather. Taking the visitor rooms into use makes it possible to extend the visiting season so that it no longer depends on the time of year. Creating a season-independent visiting option brings at least a 1.3-fold increase in visits per year.
Source of funding: project grant under the LEADER measure (Rural Development Plan 2014-2020 measure: developing and diversifying entrepreneurship)
Grant amount 49,762.38, total cost 99,524.76
Project objectives and expected results: the aim of the project is to create a winery that meets modern food production requirements between the historic walls. The new rooms make it possible to take small-scale production equipment into use and to more than triple production volume. The planning of the new winery takes the visitor’s route through the production rooms into account, offering the experience of the cellar’s historic architecture and the surprise of modern production.
The increased production capacity resulting from the project allows the company to secure the sustainability of its business and to continue development work in both product development and tourism services. Larger rooms and a larger production volume also make it possible to create new jobs.
Once the winery is complete, new tourism products can be developed that would at least triple the number of visitors, making Allikukivi Winery one of the most attractive and most visited tourism sites in the region. The growth in tourist numbers would also bring economic benefit to other businesses in the same region and help them grow and expand as a network.
Source of funding: project grant under the LEADER measure (Rural Development Plan 2014-2020 measure: developing and diversifying entrepreneurship)
Grant amount 13,024.80, total cost 21,708
Project objectives and expected results: production equipment designed for small-scale production allows production to be tripled. The project plans to acquire berry and fruit processing equipment: an apple crusher, a berry crusher and a press, as well as tanks for fermenting and maturing wine, increasing tank capacity by 6,000 litres. A bottling unit sized for the tanks, along with the necessary hoses and pumps, is also planned. The investment would cover the entire production chain at three times the production capacity.
